Architecture Assessment · Enterprise Architecture Discovery

Start with an Architecture Assessment.

A fixed-scope review of your systems, interfaces and constraints. It ends in a future-state architecture and a modernisation roadmap your leadership can act on, whether or not you continue with us.

  • Fixed scope · Fixed price · Agreed before we start
  • Two weeks for a focused landscape
  • Led by a senior architect from scoping to read-out

Scope

What We Review, and What You Receive.

What we review

  • Systems and platforms in scope

  • Interfaces and integration patterns

  • Custom applications and custom code

  • Data flows between systems

  • Technical debt and end-of-support exposure

  • Security boundaries and access

  • AI readiness and agent access paths

  • Architecture governance and decision rights

  • Modernisation risks and dependencies

  • Delivery constraints: teams, suppliers, calendar

What you receive

  • Current-state architectureSystems, interfaces, data flows and ownership, as they are today.

  • Risk registerEach risk with its source, impact, likelihood and owner.

  • Future-state architectureThe target landscape and the principles behind it.

  • Modernisation roadmapTransition states in a sequence the dependencies allow.

  • Priority initiativesWhat to do first, and why it comes first.

  • Implementation planScope, effort, roles and the decisions needed to start.

03

How it runs

Scope. Map. Analyse. Read Out.

  1. 01

    Scope

We agree the questions, the systems in scope, the people involved and a fixed price before work starts. NDA first.

  2. 02

    Map

Interviews, documentation, interface and code inventories, and read-only access where it is available.

  3. 03

    Analyse

Risks, dependencies, options and trade-offs, with the reasoning written down so it can be challenged.

  4. 04

    Read out

The future-state architecture, roadmap and implementation plan, presented to the people who decide.

04

Who should be involved

  • A sponsor: CIO, CTO or transformation lead

  • Chief or enterprise architects

  • Heads of ERP, enterprise applications and integration

  • Security and risk

  • Owners of the data and processes in scope

  • Finance or operations leaders where architecture affects outcomes

  • Key suppliers, where their systems are in scope

  • Whoever will run the result

Questions

Do you need access to our systems?

Read-only access helps but is not required. Much of an assessment comes from documentation, inventories and interviews. Any access goes through your identity provider, with least privilege, and is revoked at the end.

How is it priced?

At a fixed price, agreed after a scoping call and before work starts. A focused landscape takes two weeks; a wider enterprise review is scoped with you.

What happens after the read-out?

The outputs are yours. You can take the roadmap to your own teams or other suppliers, or continue with us on architecture, modernisation or engineering.

Are you tied to a software vendor?

No. We assess the landscape you have and recommend what fits it, including keeping what works.

A conversation with an architect, not a salesperson. Replies within one business day. NDA before discovery.
